The FandyFire 501IR flashlight is not intended for general lighting purposes. Rather, it emits high-powered, invisible 940NM infrared light. This IR light cannot be seen by the human eye, but can be utilized in conjunction with night vision monocular and goggles. The flashlight features a small, faint red LED glow to indicate that it is switched on.
